Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Nomadex Approved service (“the Service”) by venues (“you”, “your”) and form a binding agreement between you and Nomadex Approved (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By signing up to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Nomadex Approved provides a membership and approval scheme designed to help venues welcome laptop-using customers in a clear, structured and commercially sensible way.
The Service may include (but is not limited to):
Venue onboarding and setup
Digital and physical signage assets
A venue listing on our website
Access to rules, guidance, and best-practice materials
Ongoing updates and support during your subscription
We may update or improve the Service from time to time.
2. Fees and Payments
2.1 Setup Fee
A one-off setup fee is payable upon joining. This covers onboarding, initial configuration, and provision of Nomadex Approved materials.
The setup fee is non-refundable once onboarding has begun.
2.2 Monthly Subscription
A recurring monthly subscription fee is payable in advance for continued access to the Service.
Subscriptions are billed monthly unless otherwise stated at sign-up.
2.3 Price Changes
We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ written notice. Changes will not apply retrospectively.
Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of the Service.
3. Term & Cancellation
3.1 Minimum Term
Unless otherwise agreed, subscriptions run on a rolling monthly basis following initial setup.
3.2 Cancellation by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time by providing at least 30 days’ notice.
No refunds are provided for partial months.
3.3 Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if:
Fees remain unpaid
The Service is misused
The venue acts in a way that brings Nomadex Approved into disrepute
4. Use of the Nomadex Approved Name & Materials
While subscribed, you may:
Display Nomadex Approved signage
Use supplied materials in accordance with our guidance
Upon cancellation or termination, we request you remove all Nomadex Approved branding within a reasonable timeframe as the links will not be active and we do not wish for people to believe our system is not efficient and accurate.
5. Venue Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Setting and enforcing your own house rules
Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Staff behaviour and customer management
Nomadex Approved does not manage customers on your behalf and is not responsible for disputes between venues and patrons.
6. No Guarantee of Revenue or Behaviour
While the Service is designed to improve clarity, etiquette, and commercial outcomes, we make no guarantee regarding:
Increased revenue
Customer behaviour
Occupancy levels or dwell time
Results will vary by venue, location, and implementation.
7. Intellectual Property
All Nomadex Approved branding, materials, and content remain our intellectual property.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use them while subscribed.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
